SGA Gdynia coaching staff
The coaches of SGA Gdynia are a team of experienced specialists in rhythmic gymnastics. They combine sports expertise with a passion for working with children and youth, creating an environment that supports athletic development and builds self-confidence.
Our coaches lead classes for girls at various levels of experience - from beginner groups just starting their journey with gymnastics to athletes preparing for competitions.
Professional coaching staff
Each training session is led by qualified coaches who ensure the proper development of young gymnasts and the safe delivery of training.

Joanna Pęgowska
- Category:
- Coach, Class II
A graduate of the University of Physical Education in Gdańsk, Class II coach, and judge of the Polish Gymnastics Association. She has over 40 years of coaching experience. Her athletes have repeatedly won Polish Championship titles in various age categories and represented Poland at World Championships, European Championships, and World Cups. Among her students are are recipients of sports awards, including Anna Czarniecka (Sportswoman of the Year 2014), Kornelia Pacholec (Gdynia Sports Hope 2019), and Laura Osada (Gdynia Sports Hope 2020).

Ewa Gustafsson
- Category:
- Coach, Class II
A graduate of the University of Physical Education and Sport in Gdańsk, Class II coach and judge of the Polish Gymnastics Association. She has trained many generations of gymnasts who achieved success on both national and international stages, including Polish representatives at World and European Championships.

Barbara Pituch
- Category:
- Choreography Instructor
A graduate of the Ballet School. She began her career at the Silesian Opera in Bytom and later performed with the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz and the Musical Theatre in Gdynia, where she concluded her stage career as a prima ballerina. She has been part of the SGA Gdynia club for 22 years, conducting choreography classes and collaborating with the Polish National Team.

Alena Haryst

- Coach, Class I
A graduate of the Belarusian State University of Physical Education and the University of Physical Education and Sport in Gdańsk. Silver medalist at the European Junior Championships in group routines (2010). She has been working as a rhythmic gymnastics coach for 12 years and has been part of the SGA Gdynia club for the last 4 years.

Valeria Matwieichuk

- Rhythmic gymnastics instructor
A graduate of the University of Physical Education and Sport in Gdańsk. Multiple medalist of national competitions in group routines. She has been working as a rhythmic gymnastics coach for 5 years and has been part of the SGA Gdynia club for the last 3 years.
